onlinevideotranscoder.com is up&running!

Some days ago I finally put online a little idea that has been wandering in my mind too long: it's named onlinevideotranscoder.com, and is an online utility that lets you convert your videos to a lot of output formats, like as AVI, MKV,FLV, MOV, WMV, and MP4. It's based on FFmpeg, a free and open source platform able to record, convert and play videos and music.

Simplicity is the main goal I tried to achieve: all an user has to do is to find and choose the video file on his PC, select the desired output format and wait some minutes to upload and transcode it. Finally, a link to the transcoded video will appear.

No registration is required, no fee is asked, nothing will be stored on the server for more than 24 hours after the transcoding.

Since onlinevideotranscoder.com is still in an experimental state, there could be bugs, inefficiences and collateral effects, so the goal now is to collect users' feedbacks to improve the service!
